The concert for this Thursday is still a go! We are monitoring the potential impact of the storm that is entering the Gulf as is the school board. If the school board decides to close school on Thursday, this will most likely mean that the concert, along with all other school activities will be postponed. This date is currently TBD, however, Mr. Weaver and I are looking at the possibility of next Thursday. We will inform all of you for sure if this is the case. For now, though, we will plan to perform as normal with the normal meeting times in place this Thursday. Hang in there folks! We are only 2 months away from the ending of 2020 :-)

It is crunch time for class grades and assignments to be completed. Students, start now and make sure you are staying caught up on all of your school/band work. Monday Night Game - Remember that the game last week was moved to this Monday! Kick-off is at 7:30pm. We will keep the original itinerary as stated below. As far as we know, the football and cheer are still having their senior night at this game. We are still in need of help at both the concession stand as well as the chaperone areas. Remember, without your help we CANNOT keep the concession stand open during games. It is because of the sales at the games that we have been able to keep the MB&G going financially through the current situation. Please use the links below to sign-up to help: Concessions - CLICK HERE Chaperone - CLICK HERE Uniform fittings - we will be fitting all new wind and percussion students for their band uniforms. These will take place immediately after the marching band rehearsal on October 13th. This is for marching AND non marching band members. Any returning member that is in need of a new uniform part will also need to stay for these fittings. This year, I will be sending out a link to you so you will order the bibbers and shoes directly from the company. You can view these links below if you would like to get familiar with the websites. We will give each student their sizes for the shoes and bibbers so you will know exactly what to order.
